TWGGS
LOGO DESIGN
Background
Tunbridge Wells Girl’s Grammar School established their own Combined Cadet Force (CCF) in 2012, making them the largest all female contingent in the country. Their impressive achievement needed a brand logo to capture their personality and give them a new identity, whilst staying true to their history. This case study details a logo redesign for the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) of Tunbridge Wells Girl's Grammar School (TWGGS).
Approach
Account Director Harri Lewis, being a member of TWGGS CCF, was able to draw on many of her inspirations and experiences of her time there. The ‘White Horse of Kent’ represents the finding county of the contingent. The daisy flower on the crown is TWGGS official flower emblem. The red rose petals nod to their British roots, and the crown signifies Her Royal Highness. Together these elements capture TWGGS CCFs personality.

Result
The logo was a great success and unifies the entire contingent. Cadets wear the logo on their t-shirts, and it is used across all communication platforms.
