SAY NO TO

TOUR GUIDES

WEBSITE REDESIGN

Background

We were asked if we could rebrand the travel blog 'Say No To Tour Guides.' We are really excited about this project, and we were given free design reign and a lot to work with. Although the blog had great content and a lot of potential, the website wasn't standing out in comparison to other travel blogs.

Approach

Say No To Tour Guides needed its own identity in a world of travel blogs. After a discovery session with the writer, we found that his key message was that travel is best when it's off the beaten track. So Lewis & Ball wanted to strip the identity back to the core elements of travel. After bouncing around a few ideas, we found that the image of an old school compass is perfect at reflecting the brand message. To make the logo stand out, our guest designer Sophie Lewis, replaced the traditional compass points to icons of the bare necessities of off the track travel.

Execution

Result

Say No To Tour Guides is really pleased with the fresh new look of his blog, and feels that it perfectly reflects the content of his writing. He is also really excited to integrate the new branding into further growth of the blog. We loved working with Say No To Tour Guides and are excited to see the new branding in play.
